News Flash!!....March 13th, 2010 - SUNSLATES™ in West France! The French project by AW-Solardis has 128 SUNSLATES™, allowing the project  to conform to the French requirement that BIPV systems up to 3kW are allowed the highest rebate in EU. Note the SUNSLATES™ are integrated into an existing slate roof on the historic building. This project was subject to a historic building architectural review meaning that the SUNSLATES™ could not rise above the plane of the existing roof surface. The project was realized by AES Factory Certified Installer, Thierry Auguste of AW-Solardis, who was trained by Ernesto Paz of AES. Ernesto was able to give some good recommendations regarding a weather proof flashing plan and a means of cooling the area below the slates.......See photo gallery.....News Flash!!
